Juliet is native to Spokane. Through her studies of arch/urban design, she has traveled to numerous cities throughout the world. While in Seattle she served as a VISTA volunteer developing low-income housing and then went on to work as an architect/planner. Juliet is now the Managing Editor of Out There Monthly, co-publishes the Go Green Directory and has become particularly interested in the notion of the EcoCity and how Spokane can become one. Kelly:a native Californian, and a happy transplant to Spokane. Kelly, a motherof two,is sometimes lured into non-profit work. She has worked as a campaign manager and a living wage campaign coordinator for the Peace and Justice Action League of Spokane. She now volunteers to the Health Advisory Committee for School District 81. Angie:A mother, freelance writer and underwriting coordinator for KYRS community radio. Angie has co-founded People for Environmental Action and Children's Health, promoting awareness of toxics and local organic food, worked to ban flame retardants in Washington and assisted in the certification of the Unitarian Univ. Church in Spokane as a “Green Sanctuary.”
